Rules & Judging Criteria
Shockholm Halloween Parade 2026 Photo Contest
Photo requirements
- Photos must be taken at the event.
- Maximum file size: 10 MB. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP.
- Each participant may upload up to 3 photos.
- Photos must not contain offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content.
- The organizer reserves the right to remove any photo breaking these rules without prior notice.
Disqualification criteria
To keep the contest safe, fair, and true to the spirit of Shockholm Halloween Parade 2026 Photo Contest, judges may reject or disqualify photos that contain:
- Poor quality — very low resolution or poor lighting with no clear artistic purpose.
- Violent content — excessive gore, real military themes, or violent content unrelated to a costume.
- Explicit content — pornographic, highly suggestive, or sexually explicit imagery.
- Propaganda — screenshots, or religious, political, or nationalist propaganda.
- Over-editing or branding — visible commercial logos, watermarks, heavy borders/frames, or multi-photo collages.
- Plagiarism — duplicated or stolen images, or the same photo submitted from multiple accounts.
Judging criteria
Detailed judging criteria will be added here before the event.
Voting
Each registered participant receives 3 votes to award to approved photos. You may vote for at most one photo per entry, and each vote counts equally. You can change your mind and reallocate your votes at any time before the deadline.
Results
The photo with the most votes wins. In the event of a tie, the earlier submission takes precedence. The organizer's decision is final.
